Texas High School Basketball - V.R. Eaton nips Granbury
December 3, 2021: Granbury, TX 76048 V.R. Eaton Eagles (Fort Worth, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX), 48-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, V.R. Eaton upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Tascosa (Amarillo, TX) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 4. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Tascosa won 62-57 in their recent non-league bout against Centennial (Burleson, TX)
In their next game, the Pirates face the Crowley Eagles (Crowley, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 7. Granbury will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 5-8 record after their 39-36 non-league loss to Lewisville (Lewisville, TX).
