Independence 76ers (Columbus, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Walnut Ridge Scots (Columbus, OH), 47-6 in a league bout.

With the win, Independence upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The 76ers travel to Marion-Franklin (Columbus, OH) to play the Red Devils in a Columbus City - South bout on Tuesday, December 7. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Scots play the Whetstone Braves (Columbus, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 21. Walnut Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
