South Cougars (Salina, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Central Mustangs (Salina, KS), 41-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Eisenhower Tigers (Goddard, KS) in a bout, on Tuesday, December 7. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
