Garden City Buffaloes (Garden City, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Guymon Tigers (Guymon, OK), 45-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Garden City upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Life Prep (Wichita, KS) to play the Fire in a non-league bout on Friday, December 17. The Fire come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
