Beau Chene Gators (Arnaudville, LA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host McKinley Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA), 54-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Beau Chene upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Gators host Acadiana (Lafayette, LA) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Panthers play the Liberty Magnet Patriots (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. McKinley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 62-40 non-league win over Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA).
