The Cyprus Pirates basketball team (Magna, UT), was nudged 71-66 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT)

The Chargers now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vashon for a non-league battle on Friday, December 9. Corner Canyon will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 59-36 non-league win over Curie (Chicago, IL). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-2.

The Pirates (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lone Peak (Highland, UT). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Lone Peak edged Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT), 58-56, in a non-league battle.
