The Springfield Spartans basketball team (Akron, OH), was nudged 56-53 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers (Cuyahoga Falls, OH)

The Black Tigers now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Revere for a Suburban - American battle on Friday, December 9. Cuyahoga Falls will battle a Minutemen team coming off a 69-60 non-league win over Woodridge (Peninsula, OH). The Minutemen record now stands at 1-0.
