Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Gowanda nips Eisenhower
December 3, 2022: Russell, PA 16345 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Gowanda Panthers (Gowanda, NY) and the host Eisenhower Knights (Russell, PA), saw Gowanda's basketball squad hold off Eisenhower by a count of 67-61.
With the victory, Gowanda upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to North Collins (North Collins, NY) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 5. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. North Collins won 67-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Portville (Portville, NY)
Next up, the Knights play the Commodore Perry Panthers (Hadley, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Eisenhower will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 54-42 non-league loss to Erie First Christian Academy (Erie, PA).
