Texas High School Basketball - El Dorado tops Lorenzo
December 3, 2022: Lorenzo, TX 79343 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the El Dorado Aztecs (El Paso, TX) and the host Lorenzo Hornets (Lorenzo, TX), saw El Dorado's basketball squad knock off Lorenzo by a tally of 52-44.
With the victory, El Dorado improves its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Aztecs host Coronado (El Paso, TX) to play the Thunderbirds in a 6A Region I District 1 challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Coronado lost 38-28 in their recent league challenge against Eastwood (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Hornets play the Hale Center Owls (Hale Center, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Lorenzo will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 67-56 non-league win over Loop (Loop, TX).
