The First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Kinston Vikings (Kinston, NC), 78-69 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Nighthawks (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles go into the 2A/3A Conference 15 test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Northeastern went down by Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC), 56-32, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Greene Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. Kinston will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 66-61 non-league win over North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC). The Rams record now stands at 4-1.
