Texas High School Basketball - King edges St. Stephen's Episcopal
December 3, 2022: Austin, TX 78746 The King Mustangs (Corpus Christi, TX) basketball nipped the host St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans (Austin, TX), 48-42 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, TX). The Warriors go into the 3A Region IV District 32 test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Santa Rosa was tipped by John Paul II (Corpus Christi, TX), 66-64, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Burnet for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. St. Stephen's Episcopal will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 56-50 non-league loss to Lake Belton (Temple, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-6.
