Arkansas High School Basketball - Marshall thwarts Prairie Grove
December 3, 2022: Marshall, AR 72650 The Marshall Bobcats (Marshall, AR) basketball knocked off the visiting Prairie Grove Tigers (Prairie Grove, AR), 52-32 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bobcats (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Izard County (Brockwell, AR). The Cougars go into the 2A Region 2 test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Izard County went down by Cave City (Cave City, AR), 68-62, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host West Fork for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10. Prairie Grove will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 60-35 non-league loss to Marshall (Marshall, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.
