Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the SA Roosevelt Rough Riders (San Antonio, TX) and the host Marshall Rams (San Antonio, TX), saw SA Roosevelt's basketball squad hold off Marshall by a count of 52-48.

With the victory, SA Roosevelt upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Rough Riders host Lee (San Antonio, TX) to play the Volunteers in a 6A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Volunteers come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Lee lost 70-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX)

Next up, the Rams play the Brandeis Broncos (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 58-57 non-league win over Temple (Temple, TX).
