December 3, 2022: Los Angeles, CA 90027 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA) and the host Pilibos Eagles (Los Angeles, CA), saw Polytechnic's basketball squad hold off Pilibos by a tally of 64-59.
With the victory, Polytechnic improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA) to confront the Matadors in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 7. The Matadors come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. San Gabriel won 64-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Wilson (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Glendale Nitros (Glendale, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 7. Pilibos will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Nitros come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 85-29 non-league win over Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA).
