Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the McKeesport Tigers (McKeesport, PA) and the host Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA), saw McKeesport's basketball squad overcome Altoona by a tally of 54-45.

With the victory, McKeesport improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Blackhawk won 69-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Montour (McKees Rocks, PA)

Next up, the Mountain Lions confront the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 7. Altoona will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
