Wisconsin High School Basketball - Superior knocked off by Eau Claire Memorial
December 3, 2022: Superior, WI 54880 The Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Superior Spartans to 53 in the Old Abes non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Old Abes now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rice Lake for a Big Rivers contest on Friday, December 9. Eau Claire Memorial will meet a Warriors team coming off a 64-42 league win over Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hermantown (Hermantown, MN). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Hermantown was defeated by Irondale (New Brighton, MN), 60-40, in a non-league contest.
