December 3, 2022: Adams, NE 68301 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE) and the visiting Sutton Mustangs (Sutton, NE), saw Freeman's basketball squad hold off Sutton by a count of 30-29.
With the victory, Freeman upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Falcons host Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Fillmore Central won 38-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Fairbury (Fairbury, NE)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Heartland Huskies (Henderson, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Sutton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 31-16 non-league loss to Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE).
