Iowa High School Basketball - Westwood fells Hinton
December 3, 2022: Hinton, IA 51024 Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hinton Blackhawks (Hinton, IA), 64-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Westwood upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Rebels travel to Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA) to play the Panthers in a Western Valley - North bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Kingsley-Pierson won 72-35 in their recent league bout against Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove (Ida Grove, IA)
Next up, the Blackhawks play the Trinity Christian Tigers (Hull, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Hinton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 33-31 non-league win over Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA).
