In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Monroe Golden Tornadoes basketball team scored a good 53-45 triumph over the Lee County Trojans.

In their next game, the Golden Tornadoes face the Westover Patriots (Albany, GA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 9. Monroe will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record.

With the defeat, Lee County moves to 2-2 on the year. The Trojans travel to Pelham (Pelham, GA) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 6. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 1-1. Pelham lost 56-37 in their recent non-league match against Turner County (Ashburn, GA)
