Marshall Rams (San Antonio, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX), 42-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marshall upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Rams travel to Jay (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Jay lost 57-56 in their recent non-league bout against Nixon (Laredo, TX)

Next up, the Rattlers clash with the Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Rio Grande City will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 46-38 non-league loss to Weslaco (Weslaco, TX).
