New York High School Basketball - Newark Valley fells Oneonta
December 3, 2022: Oneonta, NY 13820 Newark Valley Cardinals (Newark Valley, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Oneonta Yellowjackets (Oneonta, NY), 56-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Newark Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Waverly (Waverly, NY) to play the Wolverines in a Section 4 Interscholastic - South Large bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Waverly won 50-46 in their recent non-league bout against Chenango Forks (Binghamton, NY)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Chenango Forks Blue Devils (Binghamton, NY) in a bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Oneonta will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 50-46 non-league loss to Waverly (Waverly, NY).
