Texas High School Basketball - Rains can't hold off Palo Duro
December 3, 2022: Amarillo, TX 79107 The Palo Duro Dons basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Rains Wildcats to 36 in the Dons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Dons now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarendon for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3.
The Wildcats (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Farmersville (Farmersville, TX). The Farmers come into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Farmersville was nudged by Community (Nevada, TX), 43-41, in a non-league contest.
