December 3, 2022: Sadler, TX 76264 The Vernon Lions (Vernon, TX) basketball nipped the host S & S Consolidated Rams (Sadler, TX), 41-34 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Childress (Childress, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Childress got by Paradise (Paradise, TX), 47-33, in a non-league test.
The Rams now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Slidell for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. S & S Consolidated will encounter a Greyhounds squad coming off a 50-27 non-league win over Olney (Olney, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 9-0.
