North Carolina High School Basketball - East Rowan nips Forbush
December 3, 2022: Salisbury, NC 28146 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) and the visiting Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC), saw East Rowan's basketball squad hold off Forbush by a tally of 32-30.
With the victory, East Rowan improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Concord (Concord, NC) to play the Spiders in a challenge on Friday, December 9. The Spiders come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Concord lost 79-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Carson (China Grove, NC)
Next up, the Falcons play the Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Forbush will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Buckin' Elks come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 35-15 non-league loss to Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC).
