Tennessee High School Basketball - Bearden holds off Alcoa
December 3, 2024: Alcoa, TN 37701 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Bearden Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 65-63 triumph over the Alcoa Tornadoes.
The Bulldogs (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hardin Valley Academy (Knoxville, TN). The Hawks go into the 4A District 4 contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Hardin Valley Academy nipped Gibbs (Corryton, TN), 78-71, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tornadoes confront the Pigeon Forge Tigers (Pigeon Forge, TN) in a 2A District 2 contest, on Thursday, December 5. Alcoa will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 76-27 non-league win over Greenback (Greenback, TN).
