Iowa High School Basketball - Ames knocks off Iowa City
December 3, 2024: Iowa City, IA 52245 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Ames Little Cyclones basketball team scored a good 49-40 win over the Iowa City Little Hawks.
The Little Cyclones (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Des Moines North (Des Moines, IA). The Polar Bears come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Des Moines North was topped by Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA), 72-70, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Little Hawks battle the Davenport Central Blue Devils (Davenport, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 3. Iowa City will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
