Virginia High School Basketball - Veritas School sneaks past Grove Christian School
December 3, 2024: Richmond, VA 23227 The Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA) basketball edged the visiting Grove Christian School Falcons (Richmond, VA), 53-46 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Isle of Wight Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, December 6. Veritas School will play a Chargers team coming off a 72-41 non-league loss to Kenston Forest (Blackstone, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Grove Christian School falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA) to play the Kings in a Virginia Metro bout on Friday, December 6. The Kings go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Grace Christian School won 69-65 in their recent non-league bout against Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA)
