California High School Basketball - Long Beach Poly holds off Windward
December 3, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90066 The Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Windward Wildcats to 60 in the Jackrabbits non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Jackrabbits now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sierra Canyon for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 4. Long Beach Poly will confront a Trailblazers team coming off a 56-50 non-league win over St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Windward falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Highland (Gilbert, AZ) to confront the Hawks in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 3-2. Highland won 80-55 in their recent non-league game against Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ)
