Missouri High School Basketball - Neosho can't hold off Nevada
December 3, 2024: Neosho, MO 64850 Nevada Tigers (Nevada, MO) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Neosho Wildcats (Neosho, MO), 39-37 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Nevada advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Girard (Girard, KS) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 1-0. Girard won 69-31 in their recent non-league match against Parsons (Parsons, KS)
The Wildcats now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McDonald County for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 4. Neosho will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 32-25 non-league loss to Nevada (Nevada, MO). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-1.
