Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Pomfret School holds off Noble & Greenough
December 3, 2025: Pomfret, CT 06258 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Pomfret School Griffins ice hockey team scored a close 5-4 victory over the Noble & Greenough Bulldogs.
The Griffins (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Phillips Academy (Andover, MA). The Big Blue go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Phillips Academy was nipped by Dexter Southfield (Brookline, MA), 4-2, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Belmont Hill Sextants (Belmont, MA) in a game, on Sunday, December 7. Noble & Greenough will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Sextants enter the game with a 3-0 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Northfield Mount Hermon (Mount Hermon, MA).
