The Big Sandy Red Devils basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Hughes Lions to 47 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Red Devils now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gleason for a non-league contest on Monday, December 6. Big Sandy will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Huntingdon (Huntingdon, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.

The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne County (Waynesboro, TN). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Wayne County was defeated by Summertown (Summertown, TN), 79-42, in a non-league contest.
