Oregon High School Basketball - Echo nips Cove
December 4, 2021: Echo, OR 97826 Echo Cougars (Echo, OR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cove Leopards (Cove, OR), 49-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Echo upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Ione (Ione, OR) to play the Cardinals in a bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Leopards play the Powder Valley Badgers (North Powder, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Cove will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Badgers go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 54-40 non-league win over Dufur (Dufur, OR).
