Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sweeny Bulldogs (Sweeny, TX) and the host Northbrook Raiders (Houston, TX), saw Sweeny's basketball squad knock off Northbrook by a count of 53-42.

With the victory, Sweeny upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX) to play the Sandcrabs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 7. The Sandcrabs come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Calhoun lost 75-31 in their recent non-league challenge against London (Corpus Christi, TX)

Next up, the Raiders play the Caney Creek Panthers (Conroe, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 7. Northbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 55-44 non-league loss to Wharton (Wharton, TX).
