Texas High School Basketball - Caprock edges Connally
December 4, 2021: Waco, TX 76705 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX) basketball squad nipped the host Connally Cadets (Waco, TX), by a margin of 45-42.
The Longhorns (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Coronado (Lubbock, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, Coronado got by Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX), 62-57, in a non-league outing.
The Cadets now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hillsboro for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 7. Connally will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 48-27 non-league win over Milford (Milford, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-7.
