Florida High School Basketball - Miami Country Day overwhelmed by IMG Academy
December 4, 2021: Miami, FL 33161 The IMG Academy Ascenders basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Miami Country Day Spartans to 42 in the Ascenders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Ascenders now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. John's for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 9. IMG Academy will battle a Cadets team coming off a 55-53 non-league win over Westtown (West Chester, PA). The Cadets record now stands at 3-0.
The Spartans (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Norland (Miami, FL). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Norland triumphed over Killian (Miami, FL), 39-30, in a non-league contest.
