Illinois High School Basketball - Marquette Catholic overwhelms St. Teresa
December 4, 2021: Alton, IL 62002 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Marquette Catholic Explorers (Alton, IL) and the visiting St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL), saw Marquette Catholic's basketball squad wallop St. Teresa by a tally of 56-26.
With the victory, Marquette Catholic improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Explorers travel to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL) to confront the Hiltoppers in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 6. The Hiltoppers come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Hillsboro won 60-20 in their recent league challenge against Greenville (Greenville, IL)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Urbana Tigers (Urbana, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 15. St. Teresa will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
