December 4, 2021: Omaha, NE 68130 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE) and the host Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE), saw Grand Island's basketball squad overcome Elkhorn South by a tally of 64-56.
With the victory, Grand Island improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Islanders travel to Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE) to confront the Spartans in a challenge on Friday, December 17. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Storm confront the Papillion-LaVista South Titans (Papillion, NE) in a challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Elkhorn South will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
