Texas High School Basketball - Salado ripped by Georgetown
December 4, 2023: Georgetown, TX 78626 The Georgetown Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Salado Eagles to 34 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glen Rose for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Georgetown will battle a Tigers team coming off a 63-62 non-league loss to Slidell (Slidell, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 4-6.
The Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Stephen's Episcopal (Austin, TX). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, St. Stephen's Episcopal triumphed over Burnet (Burnet, TX), 73-69, in a non-league contest.
