North Carolina High School Basketball - N.C. School for the Deaf thwarts South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind
December 4, 2023: Morganton, NC 28655 The N.C. School for the Deaf Bears (Morganton, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind Hornets (Spartanburg, SC), 37-27 in Monday's non-league test.
The Bears (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf (Wilson, NC). The Fighting Hornet go into the Freelance test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf went down by Community Christian (Wilson, NC), 73-55, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Ware Shoals for a A Region 2 test on Thursday, December 14.
