East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Franklin County Wildcats (Brookville, IN), 40-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, East Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Trojans host Connersville (Connersville, IN) to play the Spartans in a bout on Thursday, December 14. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 3-0.
