California High School Basketball - Franklin knocked off by Venture Academy

The Venture Academy Mustangs basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Franklin Yellowjackets to 55 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain House for a non-league contest on Monday, December 11. Venture Academy will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 81-49 non-league win over Kimball (Tracy, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.

The Yellowjackets (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Calaveras (San Andreas, CA). The Red Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Calaveras ran past Dixon (Dixon, CA), 58-31, in a non-league contest.
