Indiana High School Basketball - Switzerland County tops Carroll County
December 4, 2023: Vevay, IN 47043 Switzerland County Pacers (Vevay, IN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Carroll County Panthers (Carrollton, KY), 59-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Switzerland County upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Pacers travel to Shawe Memorial (Madison, IN) to play the Hilltoppers in a Ohio River Valley bout on Saturday, December 9. The Hilltoppers come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Shawe Memorial lost 41-19 in their recent league bout against South Ripley (Versailles, IN)
Next up, the Panthers play the Trimble County Raiders (Bedford, KY) in a District 31 bout, on Thursday, December 7. Carroll County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 52-38 non-league loss to Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY).
