Iowa High School Basketball - Iowa Valley can't hold off GMG
December 4, 2023: Marengo, IA 52301 The GMG Wolverines basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Iowa Valley Tigers to 44 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Monday.
The Wolverines now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Tama for a Iowa Star contest on Tuesday, December 5. GMG will battle a Red Hawks team coming off a 39-34 non-league loss to BCLUW (Conrad, IA). The Red Hawks record now stands at 1-1.
The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-County (Thornburg, IA). The Trojans come into the South Iowa Cedar contest with a 0-0 record.
