Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Hammond Central Wolves (Hammond, IN) and the visiting Marquette Catholic Blazers (Michigan City, IN), saw Hammond Central's basketball squad hold off Marquette Catholic by a tally of 55-53.

With the victory, Hammond Central improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Wolves host Highland (Highland, IN) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Highland won 49-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN)
