December 4, 2023: Hamilton, MO 64644 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Lathrop Mules (Lathrop, MO) and the host Penney Hornets (Hamilton, MO), saw Lathrop's basketball squad wallop Penney by a count of 63-20.
With the victory, Lathrop upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Mules travel to East Buchanan (Gower, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 7. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. East Buchanan won 36-32 in their recent league challenge against Lawson (Lawson, MO)
Next up, the Hornets play the Lawson Cardinals (Lawson, MO) in a KCI challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Penney will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 36-32 league loss to East Buchanan (Gower, MO).
