Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Morenci Wildcats (Morenci, AZ) and the host Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ), saw Morenci's basketball squad overcome Valley Union by a tally of 39-22.

With the victory, Morenci improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Willcox (Willcox, AZ) to confront the Cowboys in a 2A East challenge on Wednesday, December 6. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Willcox won 46-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Patagonia (Patagonia, AZ)
