Michigan High School Basketball - Whiteford nips Washtenaw Christian Academy
December 4, 2023: Ottawa Lake, MI 49267 Whiteford Bobcats (Ottawa Lake, MI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Washtenaw Christian Academy Wildcats (Saline, MI), 48-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Whiteford upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Ida (Ida, MI) to play the Bluestreaks in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Bluestreaks come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Ida won 39-31 in their recent non-league bout against Milan (Milan, MI)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Britton Deerfield Patriots (Britton, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Washtenaw Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
