California High School Basketball - Monterey Trail fells Pleasant Grove
December 4, 2023: Elk Grove, CA 95624 Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA), 54-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Monterey Trail upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Mustangs host St. Francis (Sacramento, CA) to play the Troubadours in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 6. The Troubadours go into the bout with a record of 2-2. St. Francis lost 61-32 in their recent non-league bout against Del Oro (Loomis, CA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Folsom Bulldogs (Folsom, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Pleasant Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 72-52 non-league win over Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA).
