California High School Basketball - Highland tops Madera South
December 4, 2023: Bakersfield, CA 93306 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA) and the visiting Madera South Stallions (Madera, CA), saw Highland's basketball squad knock off Madera South by a count of 46-32.
With the victory, Highland upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Scots host Justin Garza (Fresno, CA) to play the Guardians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 7. The Guardians come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Justin Garza won 77-17 in their recent non-league challenge against Yosemite (Oakhurst, CA)
Next up, the Stallions play the Reedley Pirates (Reedley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Madera South will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 47-31 non-league loss to Tulare Union (Tulare, CA).
