The Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA) basketball were winner over the visiting Salisbury Dragons (Salisbury, MD), 55-46 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Ponies now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Holly Grove Christian for a non-league bout on Monday, December 9. Chincoteague will play a Eagles team coming off a 54-22 non-league loss to Worcester Prep (Berlin, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
